This painting in oil on stretched cotton canvas, primed with gesso, depicts an abandoned farmhouse in southern Wisconsin. It rests on a hill, anchored on the left by a large pine. The ground slopes away to the right, overlooking the the empty barn and silo, which lie beyond the plane of the canvas. Gallery-wrapped with unpainted sides, it's signed in the lower right. Not ready to hang.
