This unique raku vase is wheel-thrown and expanded to create a textured, crackle surface. Neugebauer's aqua copper glaze is lightly brushed over the upper surface. A light post-firing smoking produces the coppery patina over the crackled surface. Copper filings in a clear/white crackle glaze above suggest a snowcapped mountain.
