In ages past, a cooper was a maker of barrels and casks, precious vessels used for maintaining foodstuffs and wine. The artist's "Cooper Ring" honors such ingenuity. Fashioned of hand-forged sterling silver by metalsmith Randi Chervitz, the wide band mimics the silhouette of the sturdy vessels themselves. Ring measures a little under .5"W and is about 10mm at its widest point.
