This work began life as a line drawing created en plein aire; using the drawing as a point of inspiration, artist Gretta McCall created this richly-layered oil painting depicting a lush landscape. Cold wax, glazes, and a wide variety of mark-making tools were used to create depth and visual interest. This piece is professionally framed in a float frame and ready to hang.
