Inspired by rivers and shifting tectonic plates, Barbara Danzi crafted the curves in this work with dark and light fabrics, creating a dynamic, organic piece. Danzi crafted this work with an environmental message in mind: fracking and human-caused climate change are causing the Earth to react. Quilted freehand with no applique, it has a fabric sleeve on the back and includes a wooden slat for hanging.
